Crazy Whippet Leather was founded in 2023, although I have been making leather goods since 2020, mainly items for myself and family, then a friend asked if I could make a bespoke item for them, I said yes straight away but then started to ask myself will it really be good enough, am I at a stage where something that I have made can actually sell and will they be happy with it, well apparently they were and this lead to a few more orders for bespoke items and the rest if history as they say. 

So where does the name Crazy Whippet Leather come into this,  well, there I was trying to think of a name for my business, leather goods this, leather goods that, nothing sounded right to me and then the light bulb moment, I am the proud dog dad to one very crazy whippet called Bobby and watching him tear around the house one day gave me the answer I was looking for, so there it is, Crazy whippet leather.

So what is my aim, well it is to make high-quality leather items from the the finest leather I can find, products that are not only beautiful to look at but functional and enduring.
